Shungite has been used in Russia for centuries, where it was traditionally valued for purifying water. Its cleansing reputation comes from its high carbon content, which is known for absorbing impurities basically nature’s little Brita filter. Energetically, Shungite is associated with cleansing, grounding and protection. Keep it near your workspace, doorway or bedside when your energy feels scrambled, heavy or like your brain has turned into wet cardboard. A lovely stone for resetting your space, clearing energetic static and coming back down to earth after doing entirely too much.
